ViewChain’s Built-In Wallet On Zapya Goes Online /2018/12/06/viewchains-built-in-wallet-on-zapya-goes-online/ /2018/12/06/viewchains-built-in-wallet-on-zapya-goes-online/#respond Thu, 06 Dec 2018 03:25:49 +0000 /?p=1706

On December 4th, the first version of ViewChain’s built-in wallet on Zapya was launched in Myanmar. The built-in wallet was only released on certain versions of Zapya in Myanmar for small-scale testing purposes.

Zapya users can earn ELA through completing in-app incentive tasks found in the activity section of the built-in wallet. Once ELA reaches the required quota and meets the total assets requirements, it can be sold in fiat currency at the real-time price.Right now, the wallet function is only open to Myanmar users. Based on the local infrastructure, ViewChain’s built-in wallet offers users a way to exchange ELA for mobile phone calls.ViewChain hopes that through this small-scale test it can map valuable ecological behavior in regards to substantive law currency. Thus, finding out what the contribution of this behavior is to ecological value.

The ViewChain team also hopes that this test will effectively reduce the threshold of virtual currency acceptance in developing countries such as Myanmar. They also hope that it will strengthen ELA’s local brand image and bring more incremental users to the block chain world.

ViewChain will continue to optimize wallets based on actual testing, while developing more features for the built-in wallet. In the near future, the built-in wallet will gradually be opened to more users.

Brief Introduction of ViewChain’s Built-in Wallet /2018/10/08/brief-introduction-of-viewchains-built-in-wallet/ /2018/10/08/brief-introduction-of-viewchains-built-in-wallet/#respond Mon, 08 Oct 2018 03:21:46 +0000 /?p=1676

ViewChain is expected to add in a built-in wallet feature in order to further reduce the barriers of entry to blockchain for the general public. The built-in wallet will provide users with basic services for certification management, including: query, inbound, outbound, consumer, and trading functions. The transaction function completes the conversion of other cryptocurrencies to ViewCoins. Through order matching, users who need ViewCoin to buy services can buy ViewCoins from users who are willing to sell them without having to leave the app. This ensures that the whole process does not require the use of a third party exchange.

We hope that the built-in transaction functions will facilitate the exchange of profitswithin the ecosystem. It will further promote the circulation of assets in the ecosystem. It will also acceleratethe formation of the self-circulation ecosystem of the certified economy.

Besides the function of certificate management, the built-in wallet will also play a role in the user identity management function. Based on the current progress of our business collaboration, it is expected that part of the information will be managed through Elastos DID and open to the Elastos community. The Elastos community’s third party developers can use this data according to their needs

Unlike ordinary wallet software, ViewChain’s built-in wallet will include application-level incentives in addition to the Notification Management function. There will be simple reward tasksin the wallet-related interface that combines Zapya’s functions with social media functions. After completing those tasks, users will receive ViewCoins. As business progresses, there will also be rewards from partners, such as Elastos. Elastos will be able to issue ELAs to encourage users to pay attention to their social media accounts.。

We have completed the initial wallet and interface design. They are currently both in the R& D stage. It is expected that the first phase of R & D will be completed by the end of October.

ViewChain’s Statement on Cooperation with Elastos /2018/09/20/viewchains-statement-on-cooperation-with-elastos/ /2018/09/20/viewchains-statement-on-cooperation-with-elastos/#respond Thu, 20 Sep 2018 04:03:42 +0000 /?p=1665

  1. After receiving the investment from Elastos, ViewChain sold a section of its funds for project startup cost. Viewchain revealed its trading strategy to the Elastos team this week, and proved to Elastos that ViewChain has been a long time holder of ELA and has neither incentive nor capability to crash or manipulate the value of ELA tokens.
  2. Based on the Elastos’ leading technology and the huge potential of its community, ViewChain is very confident about the long-term value of ELA and the cooperation between ViewChain and Elastos. ELA has been continuously purchased since the formal launch of the project and the current holdings have exceeded the initial investment from the Elastos Foundation.
  3. ViewChain will continue to develop on Elastos under the supervision of the Elastos Foundation. Cooperation between Elastos and ViewChain has picked up and they have set the goal of bringing over one million DID users to Elastos by the end of 2018. In order to prove the confidence in this target, ViewChain has stated that it is willing to pledge 100,000 ELA until the quantity of users has reached the agreed upon amount by the March of next year.
  4. With its many years of experience serving hundreds of millions of global users, the ViewChain team is confident to build up the biggest DAPP on Elastos in 2019, and help to make Elastos more successful in the future. ViewChain and Elastos are eager to share the fruits of this successful cooperation with all ELA investors.

ViewChainUses Massive Nodes Routing Network to Energize Blockchain /2018/09/19/viewchainuses-massive-nodes-routing-network-to-energize-blockchain/ /2018/09/19/viewchainuses-massive-nodes-routing-network-to-energize-blockchain/#respond Wed, 19 Sep 2018 07:29:23 +0000 /?p=1657

Blockchain technology has been in development for the past 10 years.Capacity expansion is still the industry’s most important bottleneck. The most important sector that needs improvement is the network performance of blockchain.

The blockchain network is a P2P network. The resources and services in the network are scattered on all nodes. Information transmission and service realization are carried out directly between nodes without the intervention of intermediate links and servers. Each node not only receives information, but also produces information. They then synchronize information by maintaining a common block chain. When a node creates a new block, it notifies the other nodes in the form of broadcast. The other nodes receive the information and verify the block. They also create new blocks based on that block. Thus, the role of the whole network in maintaining a bottom ledger is achieved. The whole process involves the design of P2P network, propagation mechanism, verification mechanism and so on. These designs can affect the confirmation speed of block information, and then affect the performance of blockchain.

ViewChain’s excellent network performance enables fast discovery, broadcasting, and communication between nodes. Public chains can use ViewChain to achieve faster point-to-point network propagation, thereby increasing throughput on their own chains. At the same time, the expansion of the public chain on the network transport layer is not contradictory, and has a powerful help. As the number of ViewChain nodes increases, the propagation speed of the entire network will become faster, which can further improve the performance of the blockchain.

Gandhi in Beijing(This article is written by Gandhi himself.) /2018/09/18/gandhi-in-beijingthis-article-is-written-by-gandhi-himself/ /2018/09/18/gandhi-in-beijingthis-article-is-written-by-gandhi-himself/#respond Tue, 18 Sep 2018 06:36:37 +0000 /?p=1630 Yesterday i arrived in Beijing and after checking in in the hotel, Captain from the ViewChain team picked me up for dinner. We went to this awesome bbq place and had a nice talk and got to know each other. Afterwards i went straight to bed because i was really exhausted from traveling.

Today i was invited to have breakfast with the ViewChain team at the Zapya offices which are located on the same street as my hotel. They always have breakfast at the office for the whole team. Afterwards Larry walked me around the place and introduced me to the whole team of programmers, designers, marketers, etc. Everyone was very welcoming and showed me what they were currently working on (ican‘t share details unfortunately but there is alot going on behind the scenes).

Captain and Larry gave a presentation on what he‘s working on and how they plan to bring a million new users for ELA until eoy, very exciting times ahead!

Then i had the possibility to talk to Frank (CEO) and Steve (CTO) for about 2 hours. We had a very interesting discussion on how ViewChain can seperate itself from other content distribution platforms and why decentralization is so badly needed in this space. We all know about the problems with youtube and spotify but apart from that there are millions of content producers all around the world who aren‘t able to monetize their work because they aren‘t famous enough. Only a very small percentage of artists are able to make money with their profession unfortunately. We discussed about solutions for this problem and what features a content disdtribution platform needs to change this. We don‘t need to make every artist in the world famous and rich but it would be very exciting to see what happens when we find a way to let them monetize their work and thus give them a way to live off their art. In my personal opinion this will lead to much more, much higher quality content and whole generation of artists being able to focus 100% on their art rather than having day jobs and making music/films as a hobby. They also explained me in detail how ViewChain will work and how they leverage the Elastos tech to realize their goals. Larry and Captain joined us for lunch and we kept on discussing during this.

In the afternoon i was introduced to a team of international students working for Zapya and ViewChain and i shared my experiences in building and managing a worldwide community for Elastos. They were very interested and had alot of questions for me. We took the oportunity of all of us being together and made a short promotional video together which was alot of fun.

It was a great experience meeting everyone and seeing first hand that the team is working very hard to meet their deadlines, as i said before, lots of great things are coming for both the ViewChain and the Elastos community.

Onward! Upward! Elastos and ViewChain!
